Questa escursione vi condurrà al villaggio di pescatori di Kayar, situato a 50km da Dakar. Assisterete all'arrivo e allo scarico delle piroghe dei pescatori: migliaia di pesci vengono depositati sulla spiaggia che rapidamente diventa un vero e proprio mercato: un trionfo di suoni e colori.

LAGO ROSA (1/2 GIORNATA)

Si tratta di un fenomeno raro: il lago deve il suo colore rosa ad alcuni microrganismi e presenta un'elevata salinità. Incontrerete i "raccoglitori di sale" e le popolazioni fulani che vivono nei paraggi del lago.

Questa escursione vi porterà in un villaggio tradizionale dove sarete accolti dal capo tribù e dai notabili nella più pura tradizione africana. Incontrerete gli abitanti del villaggio e parteciperete a una festa in cui si mescoleranno canti, danze folcloristiche e lotta libera senegalese.

Touba è la più famosa meta di pellegrinaggio dell'Africa occidentale. Luogo di ritiro spirituale in una delle zone più inospitali e fondata nel XIX secolo da un santo, Ahmadou Bamba, Toube è diventata negli ultimi venticinque anni una città grandissima la cui urbanizzazione costituisce un modello per l'Africa. Visiterete la magnifica moschea che vanta cinque minareti decorati con oro, argento e cristallo. Visita a un villaggio serere. Cena e spettacolo di danze folcloristiche all'hotel "Les Piroguiers" dove è previsto il pernottamento.

SECONDO GIORNO : FOUNDIOUGNE / TOUBACOUTA / FOUNDIOUGNE
In mattinata visita ai villaggi mandinghi del Saloum, al confine con la Gambia; incontro con i capi tribù, con alcune organizzazioni femminili rurali e scambi culturali con la popolazione locale.
